With climate change, global warming and the carbon footprint at the top of the agenda of many countries there is a great need to develop, educate and promote greener buildings and systems to sustain the development of human settlements around the world. Carbon Credits must be explored and promoted to be used to its fullest potential. South Africa as a signatory to the Kyoto Protocol is required to comply with the goals and objects as set out in the agreement.
The SAHF 2010 International conference will focus on " Green Technology for Sustainable Human Settlements".
